Giving

“For God So Loved the World He Gave His Only Begotten Son...”

The order of this statement is no accident. Because God Loved; He gave. The attitude is more important than the amount.

       Why Should We Give?

  • Giving is an active act of worship and demonstrates our love and gratitude toward Christ.

  • We are called to be like Christ. Christ was an unselfish giver. Regular giving moves us to be more like Him.

  • “The generous man will be prosperous, and he who waters will himself be watered.” There are numerous biblical verses that portend material increase here on earth for those who give with a joyful heart.

       What Does Giving Do?

​

  • The Lord tells us to - ”go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit...” We are called to bring the lost to Christ.

  • Giving supports church ministries.

  • Church ministries help create the atmosphere to receive Christ.

  • Giving allows us to support the communities that we serve.

  • Giving is the resource that maintains church function.
